In short

Sean Murray is a San Diego theater artist closely tied to Cygnet Theatre. This season he is listed as adapter and lyricist of A Christmas Carol, and as director of One Man, Two Guvnors and Bat Boy: The Musical.

What to look for

Murray's listed work ranges from a holiday story with new songs to a British farce and a quirky horror-comedy musical. Audiences can expect a company-built style of show where story, music and comedy are tightly linked. In A Christmas Carol, adapting and writing lyrics means shaping the words the cast speaks and sings.
