Children's theater

Tips for a first show with kids

  • Check the age guidance on the listing, and pick a matinee for the youngest ones.
  • Aisle seats make a quick break easy. Nobody minds a short trip to the lobby.
  • Tell them the story beforehand, or play a song or two from the show on the way.
  • Arrive early enough to find your seats, visit the restroom and settle in before the lights go down.
